Professor-Adalbert-Seifriz Award
As a nationwide Technology Transfer Award from the TTH-Verein (Technology Transfer Association for Skilled Crafts), the Seifriz Award is awarded each year for a successful cooperation between
skilled crafts and science.
Under the motto “Master seeks Professor” innovative products and services are being awarded that were brought to market maturity through the cooperation of science and skilled crafts.

In the year 2000, CEO of pedcad foot technology GmbH, Dietmar Walter, received this award together with the Institute for Laser Technology in Medicine and Measurement Technology in Ulm. They
integrated light stripe projection as an optical measuring technique into the orthopedic shoemaking craft.
Innovation Award of the German Industry 1995
The Innovation Award of the German Industry was initiated by Dr. Ernst Gloede in 1980. Each year it awards the most significant scientific, technical, entrepreneurial and intellectual
innovations. Sponsorship alternates between the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal Minister of Economics.
